Adapting training for late 30's?


I'm a few years from being masters and am trying to figure out if I have a have few years left in me to break some of my racing times (PR in 10k 35 minutes, half mary - 1:15, marathon 2:46). I've been running for about 3 years and as many runners who just starting out, I noticed big improvements in the first year. This past year, as I followed regimented training schedules (mostly from Daniel's running formula) and running around the mid'70's weekly mileage, I noticed my times didn't improve all that much.

Maybe I've reached my potential as a runner, but it's always nice to see some of my other fellow runners have breakthrough performances in the 40's. I guess this is what keep the fire inside me burning.

Are there any training pointers out there for someone over the age of 35? For instance, I still do track work twice a week even through I heard it's not advised for those over 35. I've introduced alot of things into my running the past year from Lydiard based hill repeats and weights to build up strength, long and short intervals to build up speed.

My short term goals I would say would be to bring my 10k time down to around 33 and break 2:40 in the marathon.
