This pitcher from Canyon Del Oro in Arizona, Kenzie Fowler, had serious bloodclots in her throwing arm and had to undergo a 7 hour surgery to remove the clots which moved dangerously close to her heart. The surgery took place last June and she is already pitching and working her way back up to 70-mph. The recovery time also allowed her to work on some new pitches. She is again playing for the softball powerhouse, CDO.
if thats not a comeback then i dont know what is...great story
Wow. That makes any comeback story from even the most intense of games seem meaningless. Glad to hear she's doing well!
America loves comeback stories, does anyone have any interesting ones to share? old or new
