When do most girls start playing softball?

My 7 year old is interested in playing? Is this too young?

When did most visitors to this site get started?

Hi...If she wants to start now get her going! Most kids start when they are 5 or 6 years old:)

I'd say seven years old is a fine age to get her started. However, if it ends up being something she loves to do and wants to pursue higher levels, be careful of burnout. It is important to let the kids be kids and not push too hard too early.

I started playing in third grade on a church team. It wasn't very long before I wanted something more competitive and challenging!

Most of the girls i have interviewed say between the ages of 5-7
