Asked for help and didn't get it!

I started a discussion for the weekly Weight Watchers Runners thread Monday in the Newbie Cafe. For an unknown reason, when I tried the first time, it didn't appear in the list, and I saw a message saying the post had to be approved (huh?). So I tried again, and the second time it was successful.

I used the "Support" link to email, asking why the first post didn't work, and to have it deleted. I never received a response, and then a few days later, the first post mysteriously showed up, confusing everyone.

I didn't get a response to my email, and I can't figure out how to delete a thread. As a group, we've been very patient with this transition, and have stuck around. So I'd appreciate getting help when I ask for it.

Re: Asked for help and didn't get it!

I feel your pain! I posted on Friday and I've been checking the boards every day, anxiously hoping for a response to my question. I don't even see it posted. Unfortunately, I didn't save the question. I'm hesitant to make a second attempt, seems like a waste of my time.

Hey juststarted....

Maybe you can get a response to my post to Dave Camire - he indicated he would comment on how the transition was going after a few months.

???

Re: Asked for help and didn't get it!
If there is a post that is "questionable" to the forum software filters then it goes in a queue and a moderator needs to approve it. I have seen ones get flagged with a lot of vulgarity and stuff like that. I am not saying yours was one of these posts but that is probably what happened. I will look and see if it is a post I can release. Sorry for this guys. Mods do not make the software, the rules, or even have spot on Active's payroll. We are just trying to help out around here.

Re: Asked for help and didn't get it!
Hey Everyone,
The only way your post would get lost is if it's made outside of a sub-community. So if you go to the forums and make a discussion without going into say, Newbies and then making the discussion. Also, as was said before some get flagged either because of language or by another user and then these have to get accepted and they don't always go back into the correct location. Sorry for the inconvenience.
