pending marathon question

I am wondering if there is anyone out there than can help ease my mind or at least put things in perspective?! I am running the Country Music Marathon in Nashville on April 26 (2 weeks from yesterday) and I have been struggling with illnesses for about 2 weeks...it started with Strep that kept me laid up for 3 days and then I was able to do some elliptical workouts, but then for a week now I have been struggling with a terrible Upper Respiratory Infection that has kept me from running at all. I have done a few elliptical workouts, and weights, but other than that have been unable to do other training. So in 2 weeks I have only RUN once and that was only an 8-miler...i am hoping to be able to do a good 15-20 miler on Weds...I am staring to feel better and clear out a little...does it even sound like I will be able to handle the marathon coming up? Or am I nuts? Thanks in advance...I appreciate all the input that I can get!!

Some of the best performances ever have been after layoffs like yours. Just think of it as a really heftly taper. Just add 10 or 15 min to your projected finish time.
