Tuttle High School's Cassie Chambless was the ace pitcher on her top ranked softball team in the state last year despite playing with a prosthetic leg. Has has anyone seen her play or know anything about her? Does anyone know if she was able to play in college? What a great story!
That's pretty amazing. Good for her! I hadn't heard of her until now, but I'd be curious to hear if she was playing in college also.
I believe this is currently her senior year. Looks like an amazing athlete!
This just proves that you can do anything you want as long as you work hard. I am very impressed with anyone who can overcome such adversity. Great job!
That is so inspirational! Never let anything keep you from doing what you love.
That is just so awesome!
So amazing! I love hearing about players who overcome adversity. Did anyone see the post about Shay Oberg, the one handed outfielder, in the Divisions II/III community. It's good. Check it out.
My daughter's team played against her last year, and I had the privilege of watching her. And yes, she was awesome. If I remember correctly, she pushed off with her prosthetic leg. I hope she does get to play in college!
