Hi. I just started running again after 6 months. I run basically a 15min mile. 2 yrs ago I had a hernia repair on my inner right thigh. I've noticed that after 10mins of running my right leg becomes "tingly" & kind of numb. My feet "feels" asleep. Comes & goes, off & on. Not really uncomfortable but feels strange. My question is has anyone gone through this & if so what kind of exercise or strength training or stretches can i do to minimize the numbness? My surgeon says the hernia repair takes a couple of yrs to heal. Especially the nerves that were cut during surgery. ?:|
