Head Coach cant make practice so he canceled it. I am wondering what the general consensus is on this? My feeling is that the asistant coaches are there for a reason and can pick up the practice. My theory is that these girls need the most amount of time on the field they can get. We are trying to get this team off the ground. We are not an 18U Gold team trying to qualify for nationals. These girls are still having a hard time making routine throws/plays.
Am I wrong? Should the head coach be there every practice?
First i think you should consider getting a coach who is able to commit to an upstart program, but this is why you generally have assistants and captains..
I mean things come up, but for the most part they should be there every practice. By that age the girls could even run a decent practice by themselves if need be. It's better then sitting on the couch!
