The reality is that in softball, the number of scholarships are small. Of those, many are divided among teammates. So you should be preparing to have to pay for college. With that being said, there are a lot of resources to find Financial Aid to compliment or suppliment a scholarship. Spending some time research possibilties could ultimately save you thousands of dollars. People can be hired to help you, but they come with a hefty price tag and you are still required to do a lot of the work...

At Kutztown University, we encourage alot of our kids to go after academic scholorships. They are often worth more and will afford the student to continue school if things do not work out in athletics
NCAAStudent.org is a site that gives you the rules and other information about scholarships, financial aid, and the rules behind it. I feel that it's a good place to start.
