For the past 7 years I've been racing Wednesday nights in a local PHRF C class and have met with moderate success. We have a vintage boat (a '78 Lindenberg 26) in a vintage fleet. This is a really great fleet of guys to sail with -- limited anger issues, maximum enjoyment. I've been considering upsizing to a 30-footer and have my eyes on an '85 Capo 30 (in case you can't tell, I'm an old MORC dude). But that would push me into PHRF A. And that fleet is much more aggressive. So I'm a bit torn. I like the fleet we're in, but I would like a bigger boat -- mostly for comfortable cruising reasons. And I can't afford two boats!

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
