Hi all, I just registered for my first "race". I'm not a runner at all, but I want to be! I signined up for the Cherry Picker's Trot in Green Bluff, WA and have 10 weeks to prep. I can't afford new shoes, but I hve some New Balance running shoes that I really like. My problem now is that I'm not very fast, my endurance sucks. I don't care about a time as I'm running with my family (very possibly pushing a bike-stroller) but I would like to finish within 2hrs. Right now I can walk a brisk mile in 20 minutes. Anyway, I'm glad to be here, this place really looks like a supportive bunch! Take care and happy running!
