Hi. I just read the article on chicken preparation in the most recent edition of the Active.com newsletter. With all due respect to the author, editor, and publishers, I would like to encourage people to find alternatives to eating chickens.
I am vegan. I am a runner. I recently clocked a 1:04 10-miler and an 18:28 5k. I am female. I have only been running for a little over a year. I can tell you first-hand that it is not at all difficult to get enough protein and other essential nutrients from plant sources. Please spare the chickens (and turkeys, cows , pigs, and fish). Thanks.
