Any good diets?

Please reply with any diets you have had success with while on a running program. I need to lose at least 20 lbs of fat, and preferably 30. My biggest thing I have to overcome is the constant hunger - when I run I just want to eat more.

Are there any supplements that can curb that hunger without making me a nervous wreck?

I lost nearly 40 lbs 3 years ago as I started running. The trick? Reach for an apple or banana or carrot when you have the munchies. Eat as often as you wish, but eat only "good" foods. The best diet I've seen is at http://www.health.gov/dietaryguidelines/

The key to healthy weight loss is to increase your metabolism. I highly recommend reading this article:

Remember to eat more small meals throughout the day (ELMO: eat less more often) and eat whole foods whenever possible while avoiding processed foods like white flour and high fructose corn syrup. Try and create meals that combine complex carbohydrates with some protein and a small amount of healthy fats (think olive oil, walnuts, or avacado).
Good luck!
