You know you've been road biking too much when...

1) You think 35 psi is not enough air
2) You try shifting gears with your brake levers
3) You find yourself going around rocks instead of over them
4) You wonder why your friends didn't point out that hole in the ground
5)You've forgotten how much fun the trails are...and you NEVER thought you'd forget that!
Anyone else out there feel like you've been neglecting your mountain bike?
Actually, most of my riding this spring has been on the trails. My local trails dry out very quickly, which is great with all the rain we've had lately. And yes, the trails are a blast!
That hits so hard it's scary. Time to get off the road and back into the wild.
...When you buy a Gary Fisher Superfly, and stop racing road and start looking for every XC race in the region. I LOVE this 29er!!!
(I used to race MTB only back in the early 90s, but switched to road after a while. Now I have the feeling I'm switching back!)

That's awesome! It is always so thrilling to rediscover the passion.

You are riding on a $5K factory demo bike, crash on a straight section of trail as kids pass you, then KICK the bike!!!!
35 PSI? I can't get myself to ride with less than 50psi. Must be still a little too much road. Maybe a little more cowbell.
