I practice alone almost everyday, is there anyway to maximize my workout.?

I practice(mostly shooting and lay ups) almost everyday . i make at least 50 mid range shots and 25 three pointers a day, when i shoot the ball i have to go pick it up myself and i tend to get tired faster when that happens. Also i lose my shot form. Does this put me in a game like situation where i have to move around or it actually worsens my shot? Also how do i know if i am getting better because i dont get to play competitively( there not so many people and places to play in my area).

honestly, there's no real way to know that you're improving your game if you're not playing against other people. you can make 3-pointers all day, dribble around quick and fast, and make every single one of your lay-ups, but you're not under pressure. no one's playing D, you don't have people switching up D on you, you aren't driving on guys that are taller than you, you aren't in a pressure situation.

practicing on your form, FTs, and comfort on the court and dribbling is great. but, being able to do it in a game is a totally different story. it's just like shadow boxing. can you do what you do on a bag, speedbag, in the air or whatever in the ring against another person? only experience will be able to tell you that. keep practicing, but you should definitely find pick-up games and hunt them down. they're there, just got to get in and call "next".
