What's this pain in my ankle?


I googled achiles tendonitis, but I"m not sure if that's it......my left ankle has been a little on again/off again stiff. I really only notice it when I'm walking down the stairs, and it's like on either side of my achilies tendon. I don't feel it when I walk or run at all. If I do circles with that ankle, I feel it a bit, but it's not really in pain.

I've been doing C25K for about 6 weeks now, and just ran my 1st 2 mile race this weekend. I notice that in the longer runs, my calves are getting tight. Could that be putting undo pressure on my ankle? Should I work on stretching and building my leg strength outside of running?

I overpronate, but was fitted for good shoes, and have had no other issues other than tired (but not really sore) muscles the day after a run.

I'm paranoid about getting an injury....this is the longest I've exercised consecutively and I am loving running.
