Jun 24, 2008 8:20 AMJust what the doctor ordered!So Len, you were definitely right! Thanks!!! Just like a recovery run. I looked at my schedule again and I was scheduled for a half mile swim yesterday and today was a rest day. I decided I didn't want to alter my schedule to much so I decided to do the 7 mile bike and the swim back to back. I mean I would have to do it in the tri, may as well get used to it! So I went home and changed. Hopped in the pool got my laps in and made sure to do plenty of kicking. When I got out of the pool I was shocked at how much pain had gone away already! So I hit the locker room and changed again then got on the bike. My legs were getting a bit tired by the end and I got scared when I got off and my legs hurt while walking, but then I had to remind myself they were killing me that morning and they still felt remarkably better! When I woke up this morning, I would say I was 85% better. Should be 100% by tomorrow's Interval run!! Yippee!!! Did I mention its great to be back!!! |
