Re: Introduce Yourself (please)

Hello, my name is Andrew, and I am a sofaholic.

I'm a 24 year old computer programmer, living in Northumberland. I took up jogging on the advice of my Taekwondo instructor, and have just completed the couch to 5k plan. I hope to be able to do the Great North Run next year.

Re: Introduce Yourself (please)

Hi, my name's Ashley, I'm about to start my week 3 tomorrow. I'm 21, no kids, no marriages and I live in North Carolina.  I just got out of the Army, where I actually realy enjoyed running, but as soon as I was almost out and they stopped forcing me to, I stopped completely, and that was about 9 months ago, and so...I'm completely out of shape, and just want to get back into the swing of things.

Re: Introduce Yourself (please)

Hi all,

My name is Colleen.  I am a 39 year old woman who lives in New York.  My husband & I started the c25k program in August.  I'm will be starting week 9 this week (we did some weeks 2x).  I always thought I would love to run, but could never get myself motivated enough.  Now I know, I do love running.  I totally enjoy doing my runs, and miss it on my off days.  I hope to enter my 1st 5k in the spring (once the weather starts to warm up again.)

Hi

My name is Linda. I live in Sacramento CA and I'll be 50 years old next june. I have never ran/jogged or never thought I would see my self running/jogging I started out doing this becuse my sister in law has breast cancer and I wanted to do something for her. I herd about the Susan K 5k run and thought it would be a good thing to do.

I think now I'm doing it for myself as I'm finding out that I really enjoy it. Today was my W3D2 and I'm looking foward to running the whole 5k.
