I've been running for about two years now but have recently been experiencing pain on my tailbone! My friend (non-running) suggested that the pain was from not stretching the glutes enough. Does anyone have any stretches that would help with this pain? It hurts to sit for longer than about 10 minutes and at times, can become excruiating. Feels like a very painful bruise, right on the tailbone. Any advise?
I only get pain when I'm sitting and its more when I go from sitting to standing. I haven't really found anything to help other than trying to sit more upright so the weight is more on my thighs than right on my coccyx.
