Hi Scot,
I have the same problem I play a lot of 5 a side football and wake up with sore achillies the morning after, again 5-10 minutes for the pain to go away and no chance for an early morning jog.
When I mentioned this to a nurse she said that achillies injuries are very specialist and that I should see a sports physio to get to the route of it.
I use the wall strech before and after every game and I still get the problem.
