7.5 miles for me today and it was a little bit cooler so it felt really good. The bad news, I have a Hurricane headed right at me and it is going to bring very warm and humid conditions for Sunday's 16 miles. Oh yea, then there is the next hurricane lined up which may be following the same path but is much stronger. Yay! ![]()

I am not too concerned with Hanna but Ike will be a bear, I think! It is still too early to know for sure but it looks promising to disrupt my mojo. Gustav was a pain but no damage to my homefront. The beaches and structures along the beach felt it's wrath. The casinos even closed down. until this morning. Be safe Al!

Ran 5.5 miles at a 9:37 pace, which is fine with me. Blisters didn't feel too bad but I could still feel them. Not as painful as yesterday though. I cut my run short since I started a little later than I had wanted and it was getting dark. Running in the dark just isn't for me, freaks me out a little bit. I keep expecting something to jump out and get me.
When a good song comes on my ipod while running, I tend to sing along very quietly. Today three Abba songs came on in a row and I love me some Abba. I must have been singing a little bit louder than I thought and I was getting some strange looks and then this guy came up and started singing alone and thanked me for the entertainment. I'm sure I scared a lot of people, I do NOT sing well!
|Sounds good to me Omi, I will have a beer in minute!

Hey, I DID have a beer with you, Jimmy. About that time, I walked down to the riverwalk (I'm in San Antone) and had a BBQ sandwich and a beer. For only $23! (Okay, I had two beers.) I've decided San Antonio is too expensive. And it's kind of scary walking around downtown by yourself. I decided to get back to my hotel before the sun went all the way down.
