George Gervin was the orginator of the finger roll contrary to what Fin Gerolz thinks. Heres is a little segment about him.
I like this old school hoops with an old school cheapshot and a brawl to follow
That is one of the best brawls i have ever seen. The cheapshots caught on tape were classic. Big 10 rough physical basketball at its best.
Big ten what, get your throught cut. The big ten though has been getting worked in college, especially in the acc-big ten challenge.
The Big Ten just does not get as many top recruits as it did back in the day.. When was the last time a Big Ten school won the NCAA tournament? I would have to say Michigan State i think in 1999 with Mateen Cleeves and Mo Pete.
that was a good squad. Ohio state has a couple final fours. I think Michael redd's OSU squad would put a beating on Odens squad. Look out for PSU ball, up and coming
Legend Status
michigan state looking solid this year, just beat texas.
I doubt PSU will go far eventhough there was a good article about month ago by Dana O Neill abt how PSU bball program is in the shadows of the football team. No reason why they should not be good considering teh facilities they have. If Ohio St can do it why cant Penn State?
Game of horse with Pistol Pete...i would not even dare to take on the pistol...he even takes down george gervin as the finger roll isnt smooth enough....
that video is classic. Pistol pete was the originater of "street ball" some of those moves were pretty smooth.
cant beat pete. He was truly a generation ahead of his time. I read the book "Pistol" and even watched the movie multiple times. Shame he passed away before his time.
PIstol is a classic movie, when i saw that i tried dribbling around my living room blind folded, it didnt work out too well
dr j had some quality movess
Dr J was the true originater, I could even dream of dunking like that, thats why I always roll it up, The Windmill cuff over Michael Cooper might be the best dunk of all time
Legend Status
The windmill cuff was awesome but this move might of been his best ever and top 5 in NBA HISTORY
