At the picture attached below here, you can see one example - Dinara Safina (RUS, from a doubles match at the 2008 French Open) is looking away from the ball / impact zone before she strikes the ball during most of her serves. This is in my opinion the main reason for her not very stable serve. Some of you might remember the 2008 Olympic final where Safin lost in 3 sets to Elena Dementieva. In this final match, Safina commited 17 double faults!!! So, looking at the picture below (click at the attachement), you might see one of the main reasons why she (Safina) lost that Olympic final in Beijing....
