I ran my first half marathon in 2007 and it mentally broke me. I am now more determined than ever to run a half marathon and enjoy it. I have made some specific changes to help me have a better run, however I was wondering if anyone has a training calendar that has worked and if you'd be willing to share. I am not looking for speed, just to finish. I finished my first half in 2:27 and I would like to finish my second at 2:15. I appreciate any direction that is provided.
Im not sure if this would help you; but i have found if I train with people who are faster than me I train better. If you find someone who is running a faster pace than you try to see what their workout plan is than maybe you can run with them. Eventually this will make you faster. I ran cross country in high school; I know that worked for me. Though I am new to all this half marathon stuff.
