Pre-season training for track.

Hello everyone,

I am in sophomore high school and I participated cross country for the first time. In about a month, the track season is going to start and I'm out of shape. I was planning on probably doing the mile and other events similar to that. I was wondering what type of pre-season training I should do in order to get back into shape. Thank you!
