    Re: Your Next Race?

It's the same day as the full, and I was making a wag at the date since I'm running with someone from the hospital and she signed us up.  So now I know what day.  So do consider the B&B and dinner on the hill, we can drive in together in the morning and it's not that far, about 20 min.  Bill will take us in and take care of the parking.

Great to hear it, Holly!  THanks!

I hadn't thought too much about the Baltimore 10, but I might be up for that!  Especially if I don't do the God's Country Marathon a couple weeks earlier.  But even if I do, we may do it again anyway.  Are they taking registrations already?

    Ron,

Registration is not open yet, but the web page says it opens soon and Active says it will open in February.  I hope February comes soon.

    Re: Your Next Race?

I checked Trip Advisor for reviews of the Omi B&B. It sounds lovely! I didn't even see mention of the door-to-door marathon shuttle service in the reviews, sweet!

Oh that's right, isn't Austin local for you, Steve? I'll be there! See ya next weekend!

Yes, Austin is home.  Time to start obsessing about weather and to keep myself from over running this week.

Oh I'm so calling Jimmy dibs for being run in!!! I'm hoping it'll be my breakout race for "speed"... keeping things relative, of course!

I'm about a week ahead of you. Mostly I was worried about snow/ice messing with my flights.

NOAA has it at mostly cloudy, 44/67, 20% chance of a shower.

Weather.com says isolated thunderstorms, 52/70 - a 7 degree increase in the previous night's low since yesterday; they just lost my vote. If they do it again, I'll consider actively campaigning against them.

That would be awesome, Kevin!  I will definitely let you know once I know for sure about God's Country.

Love the look of that 4/20 marathon!  I want to be there before too long.

Hey, some sad news, though.  You remember the restaurant in Corning that we met at for dinner before the race, Sorge's?  It completely burned to the ground a few weeks ago.  They'd been in business for over 50 years.  The owner's are not sure if they'll rebuild.  If we do Wineglass again, we'll have to find another place to carbo load.
