Run the Country Music Marathon with Team McGraw!

Team McGraw is once again lacing up to make a difference by joining in the Country Music Marathon and ½ Marathon on April 25, 2009. Grab your shoes and get ready to run, walk, or cheer as part of this exciting event!

Members of Team McGraw from across the country are already training to complete both the marathon and half-marathon distances, many for the first time, in order to raise awareness and funds in support of our fight to improve the quality of life for patients with brain tumors and their caregivers.

We thank each of our members of Team McGraw in advance for their hard work and training as a part of this team, and we offer all of our appreciation to those of you that have chosen to make a donation and support our runners and the Tug McGraw Foundation.

*Click here to download your application (in PDF)* for Team McGraw in Nashville, and email Jeff McMahon at marathon@tugmcgraw.org to for more information on running with us in support of our mission to combat brain tumors.

GO TEAM MCGRAW!

Nashville should be a great way to kick off our race season this year!  Thanks to everyone who took the time to either volunteer, run, or pitch in to help with our goals in 2008.  Let's see if we can keep running injury free and top last years goal for fundraising and personal bests!

Cheers,

Mark McGraw

Calling all walkers, runners, and cheerleaders out there!

Please join in on the fun, and be a part of Team McGraw as they make their 2nd appearance in the Country Music Marathon in Nashville on April 25th.

I can guarantee that you will have a few sore muscles, & blisters after the race. But they will fade in comparison to the great time you'll have, new friends that you will meet, and the joy you will feel in your heart knowing that you've helped a loved one, or friend who is challenged by a brain tumor.

Beng a part of Team McGraw will be an experience you will never forget. So, please think about joining our Team and supporting the Tug McGraw Foundation.

You've got to lace up those shoes and join us in Nashville, to feel Tug's "Ya Gotta Believe" Spirit!

YGB,

Re: Run the Country Music Marathon with Team McGraw!

I am looking forward to running with y'all again this year. This half marathon last year was my first run ever, and it was an amazing experience. This year it will be far better, because all of you are returning and we have a bunch on new runner joining us... I am very excited to see y'all there for teh run, as well as to see how badly you whoop me at the bowling alley!

I am training hard, trying to bet that magical 2:09... Kevin, I hope my body can cash that check this time!

Ya Gotta Believe,

Pablo

This race was great! What a way to see Nashville, Music Row and all the wonderful crowds of fans out there cheering us on! I got the best tour from the BEST tour guide (even if I was as slow as a turtle)! I can't wait to be chasing all the Team McGraw runners and walkers this year! The energy in the race is incredible, the entertainment top of the line, and the memories unforgettable! RUN ON TEAM MCGRAW...RUN ON!!!!

Jen...Jen...

"Slow as a turtle?"  REALLY?  Need I remind you that you did finish IN FRONT OF ME at the New York City Marathon only a few months prior to the Country Music Half Marathon last year?  Granted, we took the time to enjoy the sites along the way...but "slow as a turtle?"

If I finished BEHIND you in NYC...what does that say about ME?  Hmmmmm?  In any event, thanks for sharing the run with me, girl!

Hey All,

You know the best thing about TEAM MCGRAW?  It does not matter if we are slow as turtles or faster than rabbits..... we go the distance no matter what it is.... WE ALL FINISH..... That is because "WE BELEIVE" in ourselves, each other, and most importantly that what we are doing is helping others live a better life!  I am so proud to be a member of this championship team!

Cheers,

Re: Run the Country Music Marathon with Team McGraw!

Hi Mark,

I totally agree with what you are saying. I believe there is a special "spirit" about being a part of Team McGraw.

And the only way one can experience this, is to join our Team and find out for themselves.

So, please join us in Nashville to walk, run, or cheer Team McGraw on as they make their presence in Nashville on April 25th.

Ya Gotta Believe!

Christine
