I got depressed about my future move to Iwakuni today!  This thread reinforces my depression.  I am thinking it may be near impossible to get my hands on a nice Shiner Bock in the Japan land.  Man depression stinks.

Okay so I ionstead decided to have some of my Shiner Blondes this evening and will continue to enjoy them throughout the rest of the six pack.  I need to find the shiner bock cans they sell in Texas so I can drink by the pool in Nashville. 

I will not try the michelob 64 but one of the guys I work with likes it.  I love me a nice amber or bock type.  I will buy myself plenty of Alaskan Amber Ales in Eugene.   

Okay so I am working my way out of the depression thinking about the idea of going on a quest to find the best Japanese beer.  I three years of trial and error!

The actually have gotten better over there.  The Marines still run the package store over there, so if you got to know the folks the possibility exists that they may special order it for you.  Otherwise you have Asahi and Kirin or if you go to Okinawa, Orion which is my favortie.
