Re: Can you . . . ? ? ?

Many of them I have not tried, but the 10k, 5k and mile are easy- i am 58 and have run 46 minutes for the 10k, 22:xx for 5k and mile in 6:30.

I have not run a marathon, and am not very strong so might not make the strength tests.

Re: Can you . . . ? ? ?

OK. I'll go for a couple of the running ones:

run your age in a 10K - Yes: 50:53 at age 52, 51:59 at age 51 (round down the seconds there, like Boston...)

run half your age in a 5K - Yes: 24:34 at age 52, 24:59 at age 50, several 25:15-25:30 range at age 51-52

run a mile in twice your age in minutes (for the 1st digit) and seconds (for the 2nd digit - Yes, I'm 52, so that would be 10'04"; I don't race the mile but can run it on the treadmill in about 7'45".

run a marathon in 3 hours plus your age - ha ha, I wish. I'll let you know in October. I'd be very happy with 4 hr plus my age.

Re: Can you . . . ? ? ?

im a 43 years old male, just started running again this summer, my muscular strength and aerobic conditioning is very similar to Spicegeek, 2 mos ago i ran 54:00 for 6 miles, 23:00 for 3 miles, Spicegeek can do more pushups, i can do more pullups, that 50per minute heart rate is impressive.

based on my last track workout of 200m repeats,32-37 sec against headwind, i guess im always been a sprinter 100m,200m type ,

im gonna focus on training for 800m,and 1mile, shooting for sub 2:30, and 5:30, then may be my 5k and 10k will improve too.
