Well I just got done with finals and decided to start this up before my summer classes kicked into full gear. Because my schedule constantly changes my only option is a virtual group.
About Me: I'm 28y/o. I was recently laid off earlier this year so now I've headed back to college. I live in CT where it has been pretty rainy as of late. I have quite a bit to lose but am motivated to reach my goal weight by my 30th birthday. 11/2010. Yikes!
I would love to find others who not only would be fellow "virtual" walking members but also fellow weight loss buddies.
I would love to join your group. I'm a mother of two, I work full-time and i'm going back to college. To say my schedule is hectic is an understatement. I've been doing WW since last november and lost 25 lbs before my husband ent away for 2 1/2 months for work in february. I've gained 5 lbs back and my mom and i are starting to "count points" on the 1st of june. I'm looking for people to talk to about my struggle with losing weight as well as starting an exercise program.

I restarted WW Jan 23rd and have had a slow time of losing. Just getting more serious about excercise and just signed up for my first 5K on June 20th. I am a Mom of 2 (ages 15 and 17 ) and an Urgent Care doc working about 60 hrs a week so excercise at midnight is not unusual for me.Would love to connect with others online as we work toward our goals. My 50th birthday is in November and my hubbie is taking me on a cruise to the Bahamas-I am gonna have a rockin body by then, 50 or no! I am going to live my second 50 yrs as a fit and healthy woman. Can I join your team?

Hi-- I'd also like to join your virtual walking group, please. I'm a "lapsed lifer" who has been working on losing the weight again for the past six years. Finally decided in January to get serious again and have lost 15 pounds. Unfortunately my weak link is activity and I need to do it to get my cholesterol and triglyceride counts back down. I'm, a retired high school librarian and also live in Michigan.

I would like to join! I'm new to this too so I'm not sure how this site works yet. I'm not new to WW just to the active.com community! I'm a 27 y/o mother of 2 in South Jersey. I've got a lot to lose and training to run (I've never been a runner before but I'm pretty excited!). I usually run on my treadmill but if the weather is nice I run at the park near my house.
I'm also struggling with this site. Our group leader said that it's the worst site that Weight Watchers has ever put together. You certainly are ambitious. I can't imagine running the race--I just plan to walk. Good luck.

I am also constantly having problems with this site. I'm not getting email alerts of postings or PM's. I finally just started getting the training plan emails. Sigh....
My leader has also mentioned her dislike with this site.
I've been thinking of setting up an email group instead of using this site here for the communication portion of this. What do you guys think? Email, Yahoo group?
I haven't started the training plan yet due to the complications. Hopefully by Wednesday.
