I would say it was about the same other than weather.
the course was different by very little from last year we didnt run (around mile 9) down a walking path i think it was close the the river, I didnt have a problem at my time but I heard it got pretty crowded last year, and just stayed on the street. the whole run was alittle easier but Hospital hill was easier for me (never stopped running up) this year as I trained very hard for it.
Congrads on your run yesterday!!!!!!
As long as im alive i will run it every year, its a Awesome race.......

Thanks! and Ditto! This was my second half-marathon. My first was Disney in January. I shaved 8 minutes off of my Disney time, plus the hills. Eventually, I'd like to get my time down to two hours....only 42 minutes to go.
My calves and knees are screaming today though. Everyone at work is laughing at me. I might run it again in 2011. I'm hoping to run the Great Wall of China half this time next year.?:|
I ran it last year and this year. I did miss the stretch by the canal. I'm usually running in the back, so crowds are never a problem. They also shifted some of the course downtown due to church activity, but I don't think it affected the course that much.
My greatest disappointment was only beating last year's time by 11 seconds! Amazing!
Maybe next year I can beat it by 22 seconds!!!
