New Seatpost

 

Hi all - I was given a 2007 Felt F55 58 cm bike and I'm looking to replace the seat post as it's not long enough. It's 300 mm. Can anyone recommend a mid range seat post that is longer?

300 mm seat post is almost a foot long (11.81 inches).  If you have more than six inches of seat post showing and it's still not long enough? 

 

 

The problem isn't the seat post, the problem is the bike frame is too small for you. 

 

 

When you straddle the bike, how far is the top tube from your crotch?

My thoughts exactly. It is only a good deal if it fits.

 

 

Sell it while it has value and get a properly fitting bike!
