A: No. According to a key review in the Journal of Physiology by Heinz Valtin, M.D., a hydration expert and professor emeritus at Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, N.H., there's no evidence to support drinking eight glasses of water each day.

    I think one important thing to point out is that hydration is just as important in the winter months as it is in the summer months. In fact, in dry, cold environments some argue that it is actually more important, especially if you are active.
