getting back into the swing of things

Hi all,
I'm looking for some advice. I'm 24 years old and used to play volleyball in high school and college (Div III, nothing stellar but not back-yard either) but i'm trying to get back into playing somewhat competatively after a few year absence (well, playing YMCA leagues when enough people showed up) and i'm finding this a bit difficult. Somewhere along the line I missed the jump between collegiate play and adult leagues, I feel silly now not knowing but I would really just love to start playing again.
Web searches for my area and volleyball leagues are coming up with virtually nothing (probably a function of my not knowing how things are done now) and what I am coming up with involves rankings. I am not currently ranked but would love to find out how to become ranked so if anyone can point me in that direction that would be great. Any information about finding and getting in touch with leagues or teams to start playing would be fantastic. Thanks ahead of time for any and all input.
Erin
Since you didn't say where you live, just go to the national USA Volleyball website at http://www.usavolleyball.org/WannaPlay/newregions.v2.asp and click on the Region that covers your state. You can go to the region website to find out about teams in your area or just email the Region Commissioner. They will put you in contact with players in your area.
Good luck and welcome back.
I am new to Jersey and looking to start playing again. Were you able to find anything out? Thanks,
