I am 13yrs old i played on a pretty decent softball team in blountstown, florida untill.....it was a thursday in port st. joe (where we were playing) it was our very first game of the season and we had 12 more games to go it was going okay we were having fun and enjoying ourselfs out there on the field, i played left field before the game i told coach i get alil unpatient, our pitcher (Genny) pitched the ball several times and they all appeared to end up in center field so, on the next pitch it didnt do anything different the ball went to center field and off NINJa (me) went i was in the zone and was ready for action untill a shocking thing happened i was running and so was my center field teammate (amber) about 5 secounds later BAM! me n her collided togeher on the field every1 stood there waiting for me to get up (im a tough girl, i harley ever cry) sadly i didnt, 10 minutes later i was in an ambulence on my way to bay medical in panama city bout 45 minutes away, my friend got released with no injuries but sadly i had to stay i got an x-ray to see if my knee was broke the good news is it wasnt i got released an hour later with crutches and a knee mobilizer.....2 weeks later i went for an mri, the Mri dude called my mom to the scene as he showed her the shocking image of my knee (my mom is a nurse at bay) i had jammed my knee cap upwards my acl is slightly torn my patella is dislocated (under my knee cap) also under my knee cap there is cartilage and fluid (blood). i count on sports to get me through all the emotional pain but now i have to deal with the pain for 1yr i dont know what to do. my team gave up when i got hurt my coach folded the team i was the joy and pride of my team and i feel like i let them down. im so srry guys....what team!, tigers..what team!, tigers...can i get a whoo-ha...please i wonna make it up to them is there any college softball team (i love the florida state seminoles) nearby panama city, fl that would like to help me make it up and wouldnt mind comeing to talk or even play alil game with my team....blountstown tigers they will be reckonized.
