I really enjoy running and on the days I am cross training, I am wishing I am running.  For cross training I do the eliptical at the gym or if it is nice outside I like to bike - when I am able to bike outside for cross training, that is the only time I do not wish I was running.  I recommend biking, I would do it everyday if time allowed!

 

 

 

 

 

The ocean side yoga does sound great.....but I don't think they have that in Wisconsin.

I recently took a cardio kick boxing class at the local YMCA, it was definitely different from the usual run. I wrote on my blog about it. http://runningintoshape.com/2009/08/10/mixing-up-my-workout/
