Thursday workouts

Ran 4.2 miles at an 8:52 pace.  Temps were a bit cooler today and I could feel the difference.  Hope everyone else had great workouts as well.

I ran 3 easy today (29:00) but have a hard training day on Friday.

Four hard fast miles this morning.  80 degree humidity at 7 a.m.  Then walked a half-mile.  Good to be back at it.

Re: Thursday workouts

I'm doing nearly all my training on my True treadmill.  My ankle can't handle a full summer of street training but I'll do some of the longer runs outside, of course.

3 miles @ 8:36 pace.  HR below 150 entire time.

Nothing for me, it hasn't stopped pouring here all day.  Bill and I have been playing cards and drinking port.  Now it's going to be off to dinner.  BTW, I won.

Re: Thursday workouts

3 miles at 8:19 average pace.  I didn't feel like I was going that fast today, so it was a very nice surprise.  Maybe I'm just getting better at going faster on the downhills?

Safe travels to everyone driving somewhere for the long weekend!

Holy cr@p! I was feeling like a machine until I saw Shell's post! 4 miles at 8:51 plus 45 min of yoga and 10 min of core. Yay 4th of July weekend!

Re: Thursday workouts

5 miles with 8X200, 200m recoveries. I started out doing 4, then felt good so I kept going. Last repeat was the fastest, amazingly enough. This is also the first time in a while that I've run two days in a row.

We've come this far and it's still the same,
Runnin' out here in the rain.
Just one more mile, if only you could fly.
(Apologies to T. Rush and J. Tempchin, for the paraphrase)

Re: Thursday workouts

Solid running, all of you!  Seven easy paced miles here on a wonderful, warm (not hot) breezy evening, with drifting clouds playing games with the setting sun and the moon gently taking center stage.
