Plano Tx this will be my first MCM and first marathon. Shooting for 4 in 5 months but we'll get through the first one and the worry bout the rest.

Like Mike Helvey, spent my childhood in PG County, MD. After 20 years in the Corps I finally settled in Fredericksburg, VA. This will be my third marathon, 2nd MCM. Do most of my long runs aboard Quantico Marine Corps Base.

I'm not slow, I'm rear security.

Orignally from SC have lived all over, retired from Coast Guard, currently live in Hampstead NC, just North of Wilmington, this will be my 1st MCM, and have run two other marathons.

I was born in raised in the DC area and reside there now as well - go figure.

This will be my first marathon and first MCM... I'm a bit scared I won't "beat the bridge," but I think I can handle it!

Yeah, you will. If I can beat the bridge, anyone can beat the bridge. Seriously. Use it as motivation, but don't let it kill you. The only way the bridge will beat you is in your head. Your legs can do it.

From Middletown, PA. near Hershey. MCM will be my 11th marathon. My second MCM. Like Sara I did 2007, had to skip 2008. Sara and I couldn't bear to do 2008 without each other!!! sniff... tearful reunion.

From Lynchburg, TN (Home of Jack Daniels) I'm not running MCM this year due to my race schedule but love hanging around for the people. I'll make it to a MCM soon.

Next up: Rocket City Marathon (12/12), then Recover from the Holidays 50K(12/31), Mountain Midst 1/23/10

Originally from Downingtown PA, but I currently live in Frederick MD. 2008 was my first MCM and 3^rd marathon. No marathons for me in 2009, promised my wife I would dial down the training for a year.

I wonder what I can run in January?

I ran MCM in 2007, my one and only marathon. I am not sure if I'll get to do another marathon, but I like to live vicariously through those that can.
