Has anyone had problems flying with a heart-rate monitor? I have a Polar F11 and my transmitter has conked out on me twice after going through the screening machine for carry-on baggage. I think it's the transmitter that's being affected because I once inadvertently flew with only the watch and the chest strap and it was fine (once I got back and reattached everything, that is). Any suggestions? Would it help to pack the HRM in checked baggage? Any way to get around this if I'm not checking luggage?
