Ironman World Championship Kona, Hawaii - QUALIFICATION 2010 / 2011

Dear friends !

Do you know of any overview on the internet about the races that have qualification slots for Hawaii 2010 or 2011 and how many slots there are for the different age groups.

not yet but check ironman.com or http://ironman.com/faq/konafaq

they usually have slots at all the WTC ironman or 70.3 brand races

goals for 2011:

break 19minutes for 5k

break 2:42 for olympic triathlon probably Anthracite olympic

break 3:16 for marathon ( a long shot but it's fun putting yourself out there)

We are so excited that we will be in Hawaii in October and will be able to go to the World Championships in Kona. (Not as competitors--as spectators!) We've watched a qualifier in Florida before and it is exciting and inspiring--so really looking forward to the Championships!

Slots are determined based on the race participants,so it varies from race to race. Ironman brand 140.6 events and a few 70.3's.
