Running Pants - need ideas

Ok, so now that I finally found decent running shorts for a big girl it is turning cool.

Who wears what to run in during cooler and colder weather? Is it worth the extra money to buy running pants? If so what brand and where do I find big girl running pants? I've looked at Athleta.com - oh not for those prices. I looked at lilaplus.com - joke on that! When a plus size is considered an XL the world is not spinning right. Do yoga pants work for running?

I know, I'm just a barrel of laughs with all my silly questions - sure appreciate the help though.
