Nikki - Thanks for the information. I think I am going to save up and get a Forerunner205. I had looked at the Nike Sensor, but I like some of the features of the Garmin better. Besides, I would then want to get an Ipod if I got the sensor ... not in the plans yet. I "borrow" my wifes MP3 player on occasion, but mostly run without it... I tried using the maping feature, but since my neighborhood is new many of the roads I run on are not showing on the map. I used my car to route it and I think it is close enough until I can map it properly.
Not sure what you meant on the Podcast, but there was one that I used over the weekend on the 5K that was called Motiontraxx. It is music that you can download for free that helps you keep to a beat. I have been using one the past 2 times running called "Serious4Speed" that is set at 182 Beats per min. I do not run as fast as they say (low 8's per mile), but it did seem to help some.
Mango - great to hear that you had a successful run! 5miles are not always easy... I have run 1x week over the past 3 weeks and my time is decent (42-43 min) I think my next long run next Sunday will be to run my 5k route 2x. Keep it up and let us know how it is going. I will do the same when I try the 10K next Sunday.
