My first 5k. It was the best. Safe, friendly running environment. I had to ask a few questions and everone was so nice to me and my family. My 7 year old got in at the last minute and got a trophy and a medal. I have been trying to get her running for a couple of weeks and this did the trick. Hope the event was a success.
Thank you very much, it was a very nice race. I was visiting from College and my Mom signed us up for the race. I'm not a runner, but I really enjoyed it. I look forward to doing it next year. By the way my Mom got 2nd place in her age 40-45, Yeah!!. Let me know if you have any upcoming races here in Miami or near Miami shores. Thanks again for a wonderful time. The shirts are great.
It was a fun 5k to run. Gotta love running around the mall twice! But the results were extremely disorganized, as they had two different lists - and they still haven't posted anything online to confirm the results yet.
What a great event! Very fun, safe atmosphere. Family oriented which was nice and refreshing. However, this event needs to be better organized. Detailed instructions on the website would be nice as well as better direction from the staff. It felt like "who's on first, what's on second..."
Thank you very much. It was my first 5K run. I am new to the world of running, just started in June, and I'm hooked. This event was great, everyone was friendly, upbeat, I had a blast can't wait till next year!! My parents came and cheered me on and I had two good friends that ran also. They finnished before me and came back to run with me as I crossed the finnish line. I'm so excited.
I had a great time. The event was well organized. Everyone was friendly and encouraging. I'm looking forward to doing it again next year.
This was my 4th race including two at Disney, and so far the best!!! See you all next year.
It was enjoyable with the hills and running around the mall. Having done 5ks before, I enticed my sisters to run with me as I was hoping to see more decorations, Christmas music and cheering (and cheerful) elves. I'd love to have directions to the indoor restrooms next time. I have to agree organization has to be better next time. The paths need to be marked better. The "chips" need to be either seperate or prepackaged and trying to find the Starting line from where we parked and then picked up our packets needs some work. Otherwise, It was a great reason to come and celebrate in Tampa!
I thought it was a really nice event. I do agree with Kilavons (above) that it was a little confusing trying to find the registration and start from where we were told to park. Overall, the course was different with the hills in the parking lot, and the post race party was well done. I will recommend it and plan to do it next year!
Does anyone know where you can find the race results? I did enjoy the course, though more Christmas music would have been better.
Hey! Fit-2-Run had the results posted after the race...I thought they would be online, but you can call the store to ask them if they aren't up online.
It was a very well organized race. I came in third in my age group and the race information said that there were awards in all age groups. I had to leave before the awards were distributed and I was wondering if there was any way I could find out if I received anything. Thank you.
nice long sleeve tech shirt. 2 laps around the mall. good cause. volinteers in costume n and lots of jingle bells. fun race
