Hi all. I couldn't find another thread about this so here goes:
During my last two runs, at about the 1.5 mile marker, I get a sharp (then steady) pain on the outside of my left ankle, starting with right at the joint and up to about 5 inches (toward the knee). It does not get better when I stop to walk.
I push myself to finish the run (3mi) with a run/walk sequence. About five minutes later (and I've taken off my shoes/socks), the pain goes away. I have really crappy shoes (Reebok something or other), but could it all be just the shoes or is it something else, or a combination? Also, I wear heels almost daily to work. Thank you all for your help.
Maria
It's time to get off my butt and get movin'.
