Last year I did two sprint tris. I would like to do two more this year again - April and probably July. I followed a beginner sprint tri training program.
I'm thinking about a half marathon in September or November.
How do I train for both a tri and a half marathon? Since the tris will be done before the half marathon, should I stop swimming and biking? I really do like the variety that those workouts give me or is there a way to integrate those into half marathon training?
Should I be looking into an Olympic distance tri this year instead of sprints to increase the running for the half? Or should I be looking into Beginner 10k training plans, then once I can do that, then do a Beginner Half training plan?
