Still not better

I have posted a few things regarding being injured. I have had issues with my R hamstrings, which seemed to get better as I stretched and iced more. I then began to have a problem in my glute on the right side (Sciatica?) With some advice from an athletic trainer at a hospital / gym, I have taken almost 8 weeks off from any type of training. I've even began seeing a message therapist once a week. At this point the glute feels better now it's lower back and Hamstring again, (Midway down the leg and in the body of the muscle).
I've considered seeing a chiropracter, maybe I'm out of alignment, never been to one. The other thought that I've had is trying to get with a physical therapist.
What would you do?
Any advice would be appreciated.

what's the cause of your hamstring/glute/lower back pain is riding or running? another dumb question have you had the bike fitted to you?
me I'd go see a sport medicine doc or physical therapist before the chiropractor but that's me and i have a sport med doc in the family
goals for 2011:
break 19minutes for 5k
break 2:42 for olympic triathlon probably Anthracite olympic
break 3:16 for marathon ( a long shot but it's fun putting yourself out there)
My suggestion would be stretching and foam rolling. i know you don't want to hear that but endurance athletes neglect these two areas as they are already out on their bikes for 2 hours and then they get home and want to spend some time with the family. then they don't stretch.
There is another option i have tried successfully just recently. its called rocktape and its a kinisiology tape that is designed specifically for triathletes. its totally waterproof and works like a charm.
Have a look at this site if you are interested.

Let me know if you want some, i am still setting up my website to sell it. there are a lot of different designs and colors. I will also be able to get you a discount so that its even cheaper than the tape website.

Joe,
Lately the pain has been constant. Doesn't matter if I'm walking, sitting, running or riding. I thought that it was a bought with Sciatica at first, but that area hasn't been painful lately. I took almost 8 weeks off from any training to allow that to heal, and it has. Now it's in the lower right side of back back and the right Hamstring muscles.
Thanks for you thoughts.

Jason,
Thank you for your thoughts. I do have a roller and I've been using it often. I like to stretch before I ride, run. Then I try to use the foam roller afterwards. I'm sure that I don't use it enough just like you said.
Thank you again for your advice.

Hey Josh
My email address is jason@cricketstoreonline.com. Why dont you send me an email with your address, an i will get you some free samples of Rocktape. Try it out and let me know what you think. I know what you are going through as far as pain is concerned. I was out from running the entire winter and am just recovering from overusage injuries now. I have IT Band issues, had an ACL sprain and now that im running again am having calf issues. The other night i ran without Rocktape on and experienced about a 50% increase in pain as apposed to when i ran with the tape on my calves.
Send me that email and i will get some samples to you ASAP.
