This is for all those who are under the height of 6'0 im 16 about to be 17 july 4 im between 5'9 nd 5'10 nd my first time dunking a basketball wuz my freshman year of high school i wuz almost 5'9 at the time im a junior now nd have been dunking fluently for about a year now so yes there is hope for you guys but lik the article says its more about timing nd technique then it is about how high you jump or how much rim you can grab but some athleticism is a must. one thing that helped me with technique was dunking on a portable rim thats a little lower then 10', but Just like any other basketball move or technique practice makes perfect.
Im 6ft and im 15,this is my summer and im gonna try out for the basketball team as a freshmen and im pretty close to dunking all i need is max 4more inches of jump to jam the ball inside the rim anyone have any advices?
I'm fairly tall (6'2) compared to lots of people I play against. But my best mate is about 6'9, so compared to him I've got nothing. He can already jam, and is just a tad smug about it. It would be great to be able to rock up to school one day and stuff it. The look on his face would be priceless.
im 16. i cant dunk yet but dunking isnt the most important thing about the game. if you can dunk then you might have good hops. im 6'5 and i still cant dunk. but im still a pretty good player. LOMPOC HIGH SCHOOL ALL DAY
i am fourteen and i started dunking two months ago it is reely easy to do all you have to do is do jump work out 5 hours a day taking brakes ofcourse intense work out but it pays off i am recently trying to do a reverse dunk or a 360i am 5"9'
i am 13 years old, and i am 5 feet 9 inches, i could grab a ten foot rim easily. i can dunk small objects such as bottles,tennis balls and baseballs. Every time i try to dunk a full size basketball, the ball goes in the air and comes back down. I believe this happens because my hands aren't big enough for the basketball. Any Suggestion?
I'm 15, 5'5. I am about 2 or 3 inches away from rim. All I do is nothing but I did run a lot before and when I ran track did hurdles so I was jumpin the whole time. All I suggest is work on legs.
