Just purchased foot pod for 305 foot runner, my owners manual says nothing on hoe to calibrate. any help would be appreciated.
Sorry not "hoe" "how" ![]()
GPS? Sorry. I am not being good at electronic things. Check website? Call service number?
Infidels!!
I have a stupid question. Why do you need a foot pod with the 305? I have a 305 and the GPS is in the wrist device. I do have the cadence meter for my bike also.

I am thinking people like to play with electronic toys like people like to talk on complicated cell phones like blackberry. Not remember or know what it is like to walk from home to village phone to make call or measure kilometers with friends car and then carry stopwatch to measure pace. People get complex and worry about next electronic thing and measure themselves against others. Worry about you and do best you can and be healthy. Simple is easy and less stress. Running should be fun not stress and complex.

Sorry I missed this question I would guess just to track your all your distance runner during your training whether on the road or on a treadmill. Garmin offer free software and you upload it to your computer so you can look at it..... I have a foot pad to use my garmin on a treadmill but very shortly after getting it i quit running on a treadmill and stuck to outside
Hope this helps

You would want to use your Garmin on the treadmill so you can download the info into the Garmin Training Center program that charts out your data.
I haven't tried the foot pod yet though since I'm doing all my running outdoors, but I'll probably give it a try when the wet winter weather comes
