A running shoe that adjusts to a woman's cycle?

Are you kidding me? The new Asics Gel-Kayano 16 is supposed to adjust to the changes that occur to a woman's arch during her cycle. You can check out the report at:

Denver Running Examiner

Has anyone run in these yet and noticed the difference?  I'm really curious about this one.

I've run in a couple of older (5 & 6) versions of this shoe, and found it to be a bit too heavy and supportive for my feet.

My immediate reaction to this shoe was, and still is, SIGN OF THE APOCALYPSE.

I'd sure like to see Asics reference a medical study that correlates arch height with cycles. Does one exist?
