W4D1 Survivor

Hello Fellow New Runners!

Well, W4D1 that I had been dreading since I tried starting W4 the 1st time is over!! It probably sounded alot like a wounded elephant with asthma trying to finish the 5 minute jog segments, but I DID IT!!!!

Wasn't so sure I was going to want to wake up this morning considering how bad my legs felt last night, but there is suprisingly little soreness this morning. Legs are a little jellyish but recovering nicely. Should be fun to see what tommorow is like after a day of rest. But, the 2nd & 3rd days seem to be easier than the 1st day of a new stage. At least for me anyway.  Be Well & Stay Determined !!! TJ

Daddy 1st, Hubby 2nd, everything else just matters only to make those possible & better !!! Trotting for a better, longer life !!! Be Well & Keep Striving!!!

Great Job....and stay focused... I jsut finished the C2K Program and am running 3.5 miles. This from someone that only wanted to run if being chased or the beer cart would not stop.  So it does get easier.

    Good job!

I'm on week 4 too, and the first run always seem the worst.  I always think that I can't do it, but just slow down my pace and keep going, and SURPRISE!!! I do it.  It seems to get easier.  At the end of the second 5 minute run, I was like... "That was NOT 5 minutes.  The podcast mustt be wrong!"

    Keep working the program!!!

Started C25K 2/14/10 Age 51 and NEVER have run before.
